my first posting

This is my first posting on this site. My name is sheila and i've had chronic

pain for about 25 years, some years not as bad as others.

Back in the 80's i went to a doctor in arizona and he said i had

epstein barr virus. What the heck is that i asked? I was in my late 20's then so

i learned to live w/it and fought the fatique and the pain.

Now i am 52 and have fibromyalgia and the beginnings of RA. I refuse to go to

any more doctors (i say that ever couple of years!!!) they just prescribe meds

to manage the pain and i have a drawer full of them, and i probably could send

my daughter thru college w/all the money i've spent on tests and meds.

Anyways, its nice to vent and i hope this site works out for me. Anyone out

there w/ideas let me know.
