Guest guest
Hi ... as promised, here are some resources that might be helpful to those of us on this RA journey. They aren't necessarily western medicine resources (although several are written by western MD's), but are holistic in nature. I hope they help! Loving What Is, Byron (_www.thework.org_ (http://www.thework.org) ) This is a book that asks 4 questions to help you realize what is really going on within you. This book is highly recommended! Power vs. Force, Hawkins ( _http://www.veritaspub.com/_ (http://www.veritaspub.com/) ) This is all about energy and the vibrations we send out and receive from others. Fascinating work and highly regarded! Taking Care of Me, Kay Mueller A workbook type of book that reminds us to take care of ourselves. Meditations for Healing, Larry Moen Visualizations -- very soothing. Positive Energy, Judith Orloff (_www.drjudithorloff.com_ (http://www.drjudithorloff.com) ) She's great and also an MD. The Power of the Mind to Heal, Joan Borysenko (_www.joanborysenko.com_ (http://www.joanborysenko.com) ) Joan's an MD too and she's an long time healer. Profound Healing, Cheryl Canfield A neat way to look at healing based on 12 steps. Freedom from Fibromyalgia, Selfridge, MD An excellent book for anyone who deals with chronic pain. Daily work. Awakening Intuition, Mona Schultz, MD Very insightful and profound work and looking into what goes on within. Becoming Real, Gail Saltz MD Haven't actually read it yet, stay tuned! Defining Moments, Rick Ezell A Christian book on how God shapes character through crisis. Heal Your Life, Louise Hay A lot of people love her work, I think she is OK. Kitchen Table Wisdom: Stories that Heal, Naomi Remen, MD (_www.rachelremen.com_ (http://www.rachelremen.com) ) This is my favorite book ever on healing. Dr. Remen gets it because she lives with a severe form of Crohn's disease and she is a masterful storyteller. A beautiful spirit! There's more, but these are my favorites! Enjoy! Happy reading or listening! Warmest to all, Beth
