Guest guest Posted August 14, 2006 Report Share Posted August 14, 2006 HI Everyone, I hope you are all doing well. My dad had a pulmonary visit today. His oxygen after a short walk was 88%, but recovered nicely...however his heart rate was 123 and had trouble recovering....so now we are off to visit his primary doctor to check out his heart. I feel so bad for him. They are keeping him on predisone for one more month...because she is scared to take him off of it since she still hears " crackling " in his lungs. This disease is a monster. We asked for a " Timeline " guess and she wouldn't give us one. I know there not accurate, that know one but God knows, but we just wanted to know what stage? We did get him signed up for pulmonary rehab...so we were excited about that. I got 57 more letters for the postage stamp sent out today...my family and friends are really stepping up to the plate and helping. I hope the postal service is inidated with letters.
