Guest guest
Barb Young posted a report which concluded: >While intake of >vitamin C is important, there is no scientific evidence that supports >taking megadoses of vitamin C. In fact, megadoses may interfere with >the absorption of certain prescription drugs. It also increases the >absorption of iron, which may pose a problem for men. >> I'd just like to point out that the author assumes that all women are menstruating, and that none of us has hemochromatosis. IMO, it should have read: " It also increases the absorption of iron, which may pose a problem for all except menstruating women.
