Guest guest
> Weight Watchers needs to have a special meeting for life time members to discuss maintenance issues (if they don't already do that). < It is not a money making meeting. That is the bottom line. Free LT's bring in no money, period. You will have to ask your leader to bring up the subject of LT and maintenance from time to time in your regular meeting. We 'used' to have maintenance circles, but the staff was not paid for them and had to squeeze the time for them out of the regular meeting time (back when mtgs were 45-60 minutes long). Some leaders are very good about recognizing their free LT members and asking them to talk about LT and maintenance, others are not. I love it when the free LT's are recognized and applauded. They earned their time in the spotlight! Often they can give good information for the new or struggling member. We all know how to lose weight, it is the LT who has learned how to keep it off. So, ask your leader. Each area is run a little differently, and has different policies. Some are franchises, and some are company owned. Though the company is buying back a lot of the franchises. This is why fees and policies vary so widely from area to area. e.g. some of the differences. You may not weigh without shoes or slippers in a few areas. No bare feet, no socks. Must be shoes or slippers you can not perspire through. Other areas don't care (if you have seen some of the feet I have, you would care!). Hope this helps.
