Guest guest
Connie, So sorry to hear things are not going well for you of late. What is it with these Docs? I told mine his job was to help me function, not make me totally nonfunctional. He doesn't care that some of the meds mess me up. His attitude is, if I have as much pain as I claim, then I should be grateful. Bah humbug. I've lived with pain for so many years, I just hoped he could give me some quality to my life back. Not take what's left. I always cherished those mornings with my kids, even when they were some of the nastiest times. I never missed a morning with them. Never. Guest guest
My name is and i suffer from RSD I can relate to what you are saying. Dope us up to shut us up but what kind of life is that? I don't take any pain meds anymore cuz they took my driver's license away and being a single parent, you have to drive right? Now the spinal cord stimulator doesn't function and they don't want to do anything about it! And we pay them...
Guest guest
you sound like a good mom. i have a friend who has ms and her daughter is one of the star basketball players at the local high school. she was also when she was in school, she was also a great hair dresser, but shes had to quit. she comes to those games regardless of how the days treating her, i can tell sometimes its everything she has to put one foot in front of the other, but she does. sometimes i look at her as an example, at least i cant die(physically) from what i have. she will but she trudges rite along always with a smile. im begining to think we are the only ones that can reach for that " quality of life " ive learned no one else is. if i go to one dr. he just drugs me and sends me home. my dr. now tries to help OMT sticks a shot in a nerve, but doesnt try to help me when i get home or between these times. thank for the reply Donna Durgin wrote: Connie, So sorry to hear things are not going well for you of late.
