Guest guest Posted August 4, 1999 Report Share Posted August 4, 1999 Thanks so much to all who emailed or posted to me about my horrifying symptoms last night. After I posted, I went to "rest my eyes" and woke up three or four hours later! Needless to say, I didn't call the doc right then, but I called him this morning. He was obviously concerned, but since I do already have appts set up with neurologists and will possibly/hopefully be seeing a nsg, there is little he could do but advise me to rest and wait it out. If it happens again, though, I am to call him immediately and/or go straight to the ER. If my other symptoms don't improve before my first neurologist appt, then he wants to see me on Monday. Hopefully, there is something he can do to "see me through" until my appointment date. I don't know what, but I'll take just about anything at this point. So -- I get to play the waiting game. Not my best sport! *G* Bless all of you for your care, concern, advice, and support in the midst of this. Without you all, I certainly would have lost my mind! (At least now, I have a remote possibility of keeping it!) *G* I only hope that I can return the favor. I have all on the list in my prayers now; that's all I can think to do at the moment. No matter my dx, whether I am found to have ACM or not, you will all always have a special place in my heart. Without this board/list, I would be climbing the walls right now.
