Matt and Chip canoed 120 miles down the AuSable River the early part of the week fighting hot weather and biting flies and then Saturday a group of us took a leisurely canoe ride. It was beautiful. They raised roughly $5,000 from pledges from friends and family to be used towards research to find a cure. None of their 10 siblings have the disease, but they've lost their mom, aunts, uncles and cousins to pulmonary fibrosis. We have to figure out how to stop this.
