Today's Whine

Hi all! I don't post very often, but as you can see from the time this email

was sent (3:30AM), I'm up in the middle of the night. My RA and FM are REALLY

acting up, and to make things really interesting, I'm sure I have strep throat!

I just checked, and my red, swollen throat is COVERED in white spots. I can

barely swallow, and my ears are blocked. My temp hasn't been below 99 degrees

for two days (usually in the low 97's), with a high of 101 yesterday evening.

I'm DEFINATELY going to the dr. today!

I'm supposed to have an Enbrel injection today, but I think I'm going to pass.

I'll pay for it later this week, but I don't want to make the strep worse.

I feel perfectly awful, and staying bundled on the couch all day sure isn't

helping my joints any. I try to get up and move around, but mostly just try to

move my joints as much as I can while sitting propped up.

Anyway, that's my complaint for the day! My best source of comfort is from the

Bible - " And it came to pass... " I know I won't feel this bad forever. One

of my favorite quotes (paraphrased) is " The only thing that is constant in life

is that things change " ! Here's hoping that things change quickly!
