Guest guest
Hi Ken, I am so very sorry to hear of your illness and your " surprise " visit to the ER. Sounds like you may have almost had an asthma attack? You may want to talk to your doctor about that. The flu is awful anyway but when it strikes those with chronic illness it is SO MUCH WORSE. I sure hope you are able to get up a bit. Don't go outside unless it warms up a bit. The bitter cold is bad for your lungs and bronchials. If you have to cover your nose and mouth with a scarf. A cool mist vaporizer may help you and elevating your head so that it will lessen the coughing as you are getting better. Remember your Vitamin C and I think you can still take your zinc or at least a good multi vitamin. Just think oranges, grapefruit, and lemons. I can say that on the RA site but not on the Sjogren's site, because we get so many sores in our mouths and ulcers and boy do they hurt. I am a lucky one who has Sjogren's and RA Just kidding I wish I didn't believe. Don't cough toward Michigan ok?????? heheheheheheee big hugs, Nan __________________________________________________
