Guest guest
- I'm sorry to hear that you're not getting any support from your family. But I wish you the very best on your Nov. 1 surgery. Update us when you feel ready to get back online. We'll be waiting to hear how your recovery is progressing! This " family " at least understands and supports you! Just be sure that you don't try to do too much too soon after your surgery. Make sure you follow your doctor's and therapist's orders to the letter to get the very best outcome possible. You may already know this, but ... if they don't give you a physical therapist consult before you leave the hospital, make sure you insist on one. They should have a special post-surgery therapist come talk to you and go through what you should be doing and not doing for the first few days and weeks after surgery. That therapist also should provide you with any equipment you might need, like a walker or one of those grippers or anything else that can help you around the house with daily activities as you recover. Take care, and best wishes. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers. Cheryl in AZ
