As I mentioned a few weeks ago Mike has lost a lot of weight in a fairly

short time. From about 245 to 208. In speaking with a Joyce Majors at

Hopkins she said , I hope I get this right, that when the liver doesn't get

the protein from normal break down of food, that it then starts to break

down the protein in ones muscles. Thus the weakness in the bodies ability

to perform physical tasks. Once a transplant takes place will the body be

able to rebuild these muscle tissues? Is there anything one can do now to

help the deterioration?
