Good Morning ,

If you are asking how can one find out how many carbs are in things then

many times the clerk you go through the store with will read them to you.

It helps to try different clerk and fin one with whom you can work well.

Most stores are pretty good about letting you have the same clerk if you

know their schedule and go at regular times.

Were you able to find out ahead of time if this new person you have the

March 29th appointment with believes in carb counting?

you can check online at www.calorieking.com or use the online USDA searchable

food database. Also, you can have a sighted person read it to you.

reading the carbs

How do you do that when you can't see?

all you can do Theresa is read the ingredients and drink the one with the

least carbs. I did hear on the news the other day that even the one with

the least carbs still has a lot of carbs!

also, tape the person reading the carbs to you and the name brand of food. This

way, when you go back to the store, get the same name brand foods since you will

know the carb grams for that food adn will no longer require a person to read

them to you.

Theresa,

I always have the person who is helping me shop read the ingredients.

Unless you get someone who is completely ignorant, they usually don't mind

doing that. (I have had some bad experience, but not usually.)
