Hi Malinda!

Such good news about your son!! Hope it stays that way forever! As for you, I would either get the tick tested (we have a testing site near us) and if you don't I would go to the doc and get myself antibiotics and do a pre-emptive strike. I have known 4 people that were bitten, took the antibiotics and never got Lyme or any symptoms. I would not wait for 2 seconds. WAAAAYYYYY better to be safe thatn sorry.....just my 2 cents after being misdiagnosed. Good luck,

Dea

Hi guys!It has been awhile since I have posted. My son who has lyme has been doing extremely well!! PTL!! So hang in there guys and don't give up, there is a light at the end of the tunnel! =) After fighting lyme ever since his first tick bite in 2001, it is wonderful to see him functioning as a normal 21-year-old.....working, strenuous mountain-biking....just going non-stop from morn. till night!! We know it can hit again anytime, so continue his supplements and keep his immune system built up and in the meantime just enjoy everyday he is feeling great.HOWEVER, last night I pulled a deer tick off of ME. I remember when I used to check in here daily, there were times others were seeking advice on how to treat a tick bite and there was good info. But I don't remember any of it. Sorry! I would appreciate any advice any of you may have. Thanks and God bless you all ~ Malinda

If you wait until a lyme test comes back it may be too late, because any lyme test done before six weeks into the infection will likely come back negative. It takes six weeks for the body to develop antibodies or IgG and IgA markers to the point of real detection. Its far better to treat for a few weeks the day you get bitten.as far as someones husband only having mild symptoms and not treating until it gets worse , he is setting himself up to become really really ill like many of us.Treat it early so there arent problems laterjan "Im not trying to counsel any of you to do anything really special, except to dare to think, and to dare to go with the truth ,and to dare to love completely." -R. OK guys here's the scoop!

I just got back from my ND. Would you believe it? I tested positive for MMS,

Lugol's, CS, Lypo-spheric C, Cat's Claw, Sarsaparilla, also a supplement for the

lymph system. Hmm, let me think, what do you think is going on? =(

Thank you all for you care and concern. I am going to be a good girl and take

all that I tested for AND tomorrow I will be trying to get some Doxy. I am

pretty sure I can get a hold of some on Mon. just not sure I can tomorrow (Sat).

Thanks again for getting my wheels spinning. It really helped me to know what to

suggest to my ND.

God bless you all ~ Malinda

And another update.

I just checked the bite site, it has a nice red circle around it. I really do

not need anymore signs! Yes, I finally am really convinced I need to nail those

buggers now.

So the good news is that you caught it early - yeah! Now just be careful about how much you kill - you don't want an out of control herx. Jim will have some good words on that.It sounds like the reports from Humble would be to take a little MMS every hour, rather than starting with 4 drops and only getting in 3 hours before having to stop because you are herxing. I was able to ramp up pretty fast on MMS - I think about 2 weeks to getting in 4 drops almost every waking hour. If I was herxing when I woke up, I wouldn't take any MMS, but would make some Green Water (see my post titled Green Water). The herx would usually clear in an hour or two and I'm back on the MMS. Some days, I drinking 3 glasses of GW, most days it's 2.

Here we go>>>>>>>>>>>>> together!
