Hi group

I just wanted to let all of you who are just as frustrated as I

am with af and ttc. Its been 8 months for me...and since I seem so

normal too..i decided to take my little butt down to the local book store

and read. I was there for quite some time but left in shock. I found

three things that may be my problem and may help some of you as well.

First of all I am an exercise and weight control freak and may be

working out just a little too hard.

Second was my coffee...I thought that just one little cup a day

wouldnt hurt but through everything I read...it said... " yes even one

little cup could hinder fertility by 50% " ....remember caffeine is in

chocolate and soda as well.

And third leads back to my first problem...in my attempt to stay

slim...i totally gave up sugar in my coffee and oatmeal...etc about 4 yrs

ago (because i like my stuff sweet) and replaced it with Equal...but have

now come to find out that aspartame or sweet & Low or Equal or anythng

like that has very severe side effects because it is a toxic chemical

that is being released in your system and among pages of symptoms it can

cause....a number one is fertility. Now Im wondering how long i have to

stay away from this stuff in order to gain my fertility back if this is

indeed the problem. Giving up coffee and Equal is just as hard for me as

it is for some to stop smoking because that means no more sugar free gum,

yogurt, diet soda, etc. YIKES. I am just really praying its not to

late to regain fertility. If any of you know anything about it Id sure

be interested on some help.
