Hi Tawny!

Sorry to hear about your computer. You have a new one I take it? I'm fairly new

around here, so I haven't met you before, nice to meet ya!

I had a wonderful Christmas with family and a nice quiet New Year. I hope you

had the same.

Pain free days for you too. Right now that just isn't happening for me.

Hugs,

Tommie

Hi family,...

My computer crashed, so haven't been online for a very long time. I

have missed everyone so much. I hope everyone had a great holiday,

and I pray for pain free days in the new year for all of us. A big

welcome to all the new members, and looking forward to getting to know

you. Hugs to all, Tawny

Tommie,

Please don't apologize for not being able to be on the PC. I know

how that is. It would be nice to have just a day feeling good. That

is good you haven't been in the hospital. Your right about the meds,

but probably with me, if I didn't take them, I would be bedridden.

Wow girl, you do take a lot of meds!!! I take around 21, and get so

tired of it. It seems that is all I do, keep up with the darn

things. The RA is very bad if you can get the right med, I suppose.

Most of the meds only work for awhile, and then you have to change to

somethng else. I have terrible fatique, and not sure why. I'm sure

a part is the RA, but I can't do much. Then with the five herniated

discs, can't do much. My family think all my meds would kill a

horse,lol I guess, I'm not so lucky,lol

Yes, I live in Oklahoma all my life. I have traveled quite a lot,

but always come back home. Well, I will close for now got a phone

call, take care, and big hug Tawny

Tawny,

Where in Oklahoma are you? I live in Yukon, just west of Oklahoma City.

I take quite a lot of pain meds myself. But we have to do what we have to do.

Some of my family members are concerned because it takes so much to kill my

pain. They never make me dopey, so I guess I'm on the right dose of everything.

I would love to go off the meds, but gosh, there is no way I could function. And

way I feel with the break through pain, I can't imagine not having my long

acting medicine, nor how I'd feel without it in my system. I don't want to find

out either. We so what we have to do to survive!

I use to have feel good days, and even weeks at times. But it's been a few years

now since all of that was. It's a distant memory now :( I hate this. I'd love to

feel good just for a few hours. That just doesn't happen anymore. It can be so

depressing too if we let it. I've got that part under control finally. I was in

horrible shape in the depression department in 2005-06, I didn't think there

was any getting back to a decent level of being depression free, but thanks to

Cymbalta, I am! I made it through Christmas and the holidays and so glad they

are over!

Hugs,

Tommie
