that would be a great thing to research/read up on... newer tests that are

easy/simpler/more affordable to test for heart disease and if there are any

in the making.

There are several indicators of heart trouble without having to take a

stress test. One can have the blood tested for homocystin levels and crp

c-reactive protein, which are excellent predictors of heart trouble and

whether or not a person may or may not have a heart attack. A lipid profile

is also a valuable test of cardiovascular functioning. Also these test can

also provide valuable information for a person to use in order to take

corrective remedies to avoid having a heart attack. These remedies may take

the form of a diet, exercise, taking specific supplements or antibiotics are

a combination of them. If a person is suffering with angina, then a stress

test of some kind is probably indicated, if not just going ahead and having

a cardiac catharization examination. Of course I don't think one would have

a catharization without first having severe symptoms of angina, shortness of

breath and feelings of weakness, since this involves a surgical procedure.

The former tests requires having the physician order some specific lab tests

made on blood drawn from your arm in his office.

Research is coming to show that it is not the fat you consume that causes

the problems with fat in the arteries, but it is actually more closely

related to the number of carbohydrates you consume. The higher your

carbohydrate consumption, the greater you are likely to have

atherosclerosis, arteriosclerosis, high blood pressure and a lot of other

vascular diseases including heart trouble. The Eskimoes, who traditionally

consume very low amounts of carbohydrates, but have diets consisting

primarily of protein and fat, have very few heart attacks as compared to

people living in the lower states.

yes, and my hunch is because of the jolt quick acting carbs slam on your

system. Each large dose of carbs you eat cranks your system so hard that

after time, it just gives... heart attack. Ever heard that saying eat a

energy bar for energy? Well, that is why... carbs booste your energy then

drop you. crank, drop, crank, drop, crank, heart attack.
