Guest guest
oh, they know it's their food. that aren't dumb. but they give up when they see that's all that they will get. my one lab needs a hip surgery in the spring and needs to shed some weight, so it's for her own good. my female lab owns me, or at least she thinks so. she is the most lovable dog, until i pet another animal. then she has a hissy fit. even though all of the other animals were here before her! Guest guest
Jena, It did stop all of the itching finally but for almost 14 days he couldn't hold his bladder no matter what he did. It was kinda sad as he had never went in the house before so he had no idea what was going on he would give me this look like what the heck is happening! It was almost heartbreaking. He is now on 20 mg of prendisone every day and that really seems to help. He is a very big boy 156 pounds and the vet didn't think that low a dose would help him but it has. I now have the puppy that is starting the same thing. I think I read somewhere that Newfies are allergic to corn so I guess I better do some more research and find another food without corn...hahahaha almost impossible! Good luck Gentle hugs, Debi -- Re: my poor little dog - Jena did the shot help him? Jena ~:~Jena~:~ My Home Page My E-mail my poor little dog My little dog Shelby has hot spots or dermatitis. Anyways my DIL works as a Vet Tech and told me to shave the places and bathe her good and then put the medicine on. So, Shelby ended up with a backward Mohawk. LOL but she seems to be relieve. not scratching anything like she was. Sure hope this helps her as visits to the vet are very expensive down here.
