Cell phone ?

Hi all

Hope the weather isn't too bad where you are.

I need some help on deciding on a cell phone. I know they have been around

for a while, but honestly, I never thought we would have to get one so we

just ignored anything we heard or saw. Seems like the place where DH works

has decided to " listen in " on outgoing calls. They have been " listening in "

on incoming calls for years but we just never gave it a thought because I

don't call him at work unless it is an emergency. If they want to listen in

on an emergency call, FINE!! DH doesn't call me much but it is usually to

ask if I need something on the way home or how my ol bones are doing. His

company doesn't need to know our personal business!!!!!

So what should we be looking for? We don't want all the fancy gagets on it.

Just a good reliable cell phone that we can hear clearly on it and the

monthly fees won't mean we have to sell our souls. We have seen cell phone

cards in stores. Are they worth it? Do we still have to make monthly

payments with those phone cards? Is one cell phone company better than

another price wise? etc.

We know nothing about cell phones so any help would be great.
