Why do some coils heat up faster than others?-Aandraya 30 minutes is great. I only get about 12 minutes before mine gets too hot. I plastic bag it and freezer as well, but coiling is a pain/limiting since mine heats up so quickly. When my oldest daughter comes home this summer there will be four of us. The coil lasts about 30 minutes before getting too hot. We get around this by using two coils and rotating them. When the first gets too hot we put it in the freezer. Even then it still works best if we coil at different times. We have taken this one step further by leaving a coil in the freezer and starting out with a frozen coil. > > > > And what happens if you do it for longer?
