Guest guest
Regarding Fibromyalgia: > It is believed to be caused by disruptions in the sleep pattern so > that you do not get enough restorative sleep. Sleep disturbance is typically thought of as a " symptom " of fibromyalgia and not a cause. Other symptoms of fibromyalgia include: Generalized Pain Fatigue Insomnia Headaches Morning Stiffness Irritable Bowel Syndrome Bladder Irritability Numbness and Tingling in Extremities Circulatory problems Cold Intolerance TMJ......etc. Possible causes include: Injury or trauma (physical or emotional) affect the central nervous system's response to pain Infection (flu, etc.) may trigger the fibromyalgia which continues even after the infection is gone Lack of exercise and changes in muscle metabolism -OR- muscle overuse Depression Hormones (Somatomedin C, Seratonin, Substance P and HPA hormones have all been linked) Good luck!
