Dear Cindi:

You don't really know me but I have written to you before. I am just

curious. Why, if you get so sick from all the RA drugs, do you take them? I

don't

take any of them because I have a kidney transplant and I am not allowed to

take those meds since they could cause me to reject my kidney.

I just use a duragesic patch and I am okay. I feel practically normal and

hardly have any pain. I can understand if your Dr. won't give it to you but

there are Doctors out there that will. That's why they made them so people like

us can be comfortable.

I am sorry you are in so much pain.

See if your Dr. will prescribe it for you.
