LDN - Is this common??? Bad reaction AND good effects

My 4.75 DS was prescribed 25 mg LDN by our DAN for a 10 day trial.

I gave it to my son on Monday a.m. with a small amount of food and he

was irritable. He is typically very compliant but had several

SCREAMING fits during the day. That night his stomach started

rumbling and the next morning he threw up (we had been exposed to a

virus over the weekend). I attributed his irritable behavior on

Monday to the oncoming virus. Late Tues and Wed. he exhibited GREAT

language and quick verbal response. I gave no supps or meds on Tues

or Wed. Thought that might be it. Also, Wed he started eating again

and no changes were noted.

Thurs I decided to dose the Naltrexone again. I gave it to him at

9:30 and by 10:30 he was irritable and screamed. A few hours later he

said that he wasn't feeling good. He moped around all day.

I have now added back in 75% of his supps and meds, and he's doing

fantastic. He's drawing independently (which we recently saw in a

spurt when doing a prednisone taper) that diminished as soon as we

were off the steroid.

Here's my question. Is the clarity, language complexity and drawing

possibly due to the LDN? These are gains we saw with prednisolone, so

it would stand to reason. However, he seems to have an absolutely

terrible time taking the med.

Any thoughts? I have no idea if I should try to dose a 3rd time. I

read that some give this at bedtime. Could that circumvent the

unpleasant behaviors and ill feeling?
