Shoulder Replacement surgery???

Hi, I'm scheduled for a total shoulder replacement surgery this

Friday at Northwestern in Chicago. I just wondered if anyone has had

this and what I can expect. my RA ruined all cartilage in left

shoulder, also have rotator cuff tear. I'm only 36 and have a 3 year

old so not looking forward to recovery.

My thoughts will be with you this week Kirsten..the closest I have had to that

surgery is a rotator cuff repair with a decompression for the impigment that

caused the tear...what you are going through is more extensive. I will say that

after experiencing this extensive flair this month in most of my joints..if you

have survived that you will do just fine... I am sure you have gotten pretty

tough over the years. I am a relative newbie to this and still a WIMP..HA Best
