Thanks for sharing. I'm always the " little engine that can " . At least that

is what I tell myself daily. Not everyday is perfect, I don't expect it to

I take a multi B vitamin supplement every 3rd day and believe it helps. I

was jumping this morning. Oh, wait, it could have been the red eye venti

mocha I had.....I get it at GNC (the B vitamin that is) for 9.99 for 50

caplets. They smell and taste nasty and are the size of something you

would give a farm animal, but works.

as you know, Mike takes a slew of alternatives...but one thing he takes

that

he felt increased his energy was high dose B-12....

it's very cheap, you can also get your Dr. to give you shots of it, Mike

used to do that...the Dr. went on vacation and he started taking it

orally....he really feels a difference...

With all due respect Micael, it is beyond the scope of this email chat group to

treat (or even attempt to treat) someone in psychosis. If you fear such an

extreme condition exists for your friend, you should seek professional help for

him/her in your community at once and stop playing at being an amateur

therapist. And I you would likely expect such a response if you yourself were

in this person's shoes (at least I would). I wish you well in finding suitable

treatment options for your friend but fear the symptoms require urgent attention

there, not here online.

hi rod i have been lerkingi have been haveing problems with my colen i have a

colencoctumy next wensday it has me depressed and when i get depressed i dont

talk much i have 7 arcers on a state stocked trout stream i can set on my

creekbank and watch them stock it with trout i have 2 truck payments left i am

going to by a nice traval trailer and put it on the creek and live in it it has

a long drive way it is back off the road far enuff that the duct cant get to you

it is a nice 5 acersof alfalfa and 2 arcers of nice big trees it has deer and

terky i can set on the back porch and hunt it is rilly nice i hope to have it

set up by june donnieKY

I love my furbabies in fact mine are going to the vet next week and that bill

will be over 5oo bucks since they are such a rip off and one of my dogs is on

Rimadyl and some sort of supplements.  So when I go I always leave with really

really light pockets.

hi lotacats that is what we do we do alot of the vet stuff are selfs we give the

horses there shots the cats and dogs the vets sells what we need that saves alot

of money for us with me not being able to work if we didnot do that we could not

aford the pets we buy the bute a bottle of a 100 at a time horse shots buy the

box lotacats at least you have your 4 furkids and that is what thay are your

kids thay act like kids fight like kids pout like kids so thay are your furkids

Donnie, how do you handle it? Do you try to talk to them? Or do you ignore

it? I've gone into deep stages of depression over it but I don't worry about

it anymore. That takes up to much energy & brain cells that I don't have

left :-)) I wish there was some way all families could understand those of

us that live in chronic pain. They seem to think we ask to be this way. For

Hi Donnie and Renae,

Talking about depression - am just coming out of my from 2 days ago. Families

they don't want to understand because then they have to admit there is a

problem. What makes me so mad is they are the ones causing some of the problems

by not helping or mainly by not admitting that there is something wrong have

found out w/my daughter she has not a clue to what is going on, I quit telling

her, it is a waist of my time. They will open their eyes one day but it will

beto late. They are very selfish people!

You have us I know it is not the same but even though no one really acknowledge

me I still can read your messages and know I am not alone. Hope u 2 have a

better day tomorrow and hope you get some sleep. I won't sleep tonight my pain

is out there and no meds are working.

Hi , I'm sorry if I've overlooked you. There are so many members that

we often get caught not talking to everyone. I felt that way at first but I

realized there is a lot of activity & often some just don't get answered.

It's sad our families are the way they are but I think I've finally learned

to say it's their loss. I'm there for them whenever. And you are correct.

They are often the ones causing some of the stress. But again, I'm deciding

to realize that I don't have that much longer on this earth & i want to be

happy as long as I have. So I MUST find things that make ME happy instead of

I have always been really really good at looking at things from the other

person's perspective..... and I have to say in my family the ones who are not

nice, just do not understand a great counselorand, or they think I am faking.  I

have sat down with most of my family ang have told them what is going on... I

never would have thought people could be so mean. and they are family!!!!!   I

have gotten to the point that when I visit all of my family (they live in CA I

live in CO) I only hang out with the ones that understands what is going on and

cares about me.  I have been able to do this with the help of a great counselor

and friends like you (the people in this group) so thank you, thank tou, thank

you

I'm sorry to hear that your family doesn't understand your pain. My husband is

the same way. When he's talking to " outsiders " he acts like this wonderful,

understanding husband. Then he turns around and treats me like I'm this huge

burden. He makes me sick! I am so grateful for this group - my friends here

keep me from going crazy.

I feel bad that your pain has been so unbearable. I hope it let's up soon.

I had it done too, and it didn't help at all. Just one of the many expensive

procedures I've tried with no improvement.

Well about 1 year later the pain I was having that I did the proceedure to fix

has pretty much gone away.  But I have had so much more pain come my way since

then it, so I don't know if the pain is just less intense because I have so much

more pain to pay attention to or if it is because those electrozapps worked.

Sorry you feel used. That is not how he should be treating you. My husband works

a lot and long hours and we have no children. So my computer helps me keep

busying and keeps my mind off just my pain.

 

At least you know you are not alone. Thank heavens for online support groups.

Did you have chronic pain when you married her? Or it happened later?

what you have said in the past about your wife it sounds like she does not

understand what you are going threw.

Donnie how old are you? Reason I am asking are you willing to start all

over?

You are right having a mate. That understands and loves you makes life a lot

better happiness is something we all deserves.

You do what you think you must if you are that miserable where you are at

I hope no one gets too freaked out...I seriously doubt they'll take ANY of

these " off the market " , at least not in the for-seeable future. At this

point, the drug companies will be lobbying hard and I can't see them laying

down and losing tens of millions of dollars in profit.

So I wouldn't panic....it's not likely the meds will be removed from the

market

Aloha Donnie and all.

I take Norco 10-325. It has worked better than oxycodone. And been a real life

saver for my pain. I saw my neurologist yesterday and he brought this topic up.

So he is fully aware of the BS. I can't believe after this many years they are

gripping about tylenol. I find it strange. Hope this just all disappears.
