There is a symptom called ileus that we believe this medication causes which will created a situation that they can't go if they wanted to (unless you give the medication) It's a paralytic condition called ileus and has been reported on the FDA adverse reaction sheets. My physician pointed this out as it was on there many times. This medication seems to deaden the nerve cells as it was NEVER intended for long term use. There is one person on here that had to have her son's bowels removed as they were dead. If it were me, I'd get them off, not wean. If I had a dollar for every person who told me this same story, I'd be rich. Kirkman probiotics / ingredient xylitol, is a natural sugar, works as a laxative and has probiotic to replenish gut florahttp://kirkmanlabs.com/ProductKirkman/184/1/Pro-BioandChewableWafers/ Shaklee herbax............all natural, we used to get our dd off Miralax, works fasthttp://www.shaklee.com/products.php?sku=20144 I take Kirkman 2x a day as I have to be on long term antibiotics and the antibiotics makes my nose stuff up. If I take the probiotic, my nose becomes moist again within minutes. AMAZING...............Look up ileus and see that the condition can be caused by chemicals.............these poor children couldn't go if they wanted to...............This is also an indication of that you will need more of the toxic chemical to woosh things out if this is what we're seeing, look up the MSDS Material Safety Data Sheet, it burns the

skin and combustable in the making. It states DO NOT INGESTJeanie ♥To: "miralax " <miralax >Cc: "miralax " <miralax >Sent: Sat, December 10, 2011 9:34:40 PMSubject: Re: FDA Petition

Hi-I have been regularly reading the messages from this group. My 4 year old has been on miralax for a year now.I'm slowly lowering the dosage of miralax every 2 months or so, now the dosage reached to 1/4 th teaspoon, and I see her struggling to go but not being able to get it out.Are there any suggestions for natural alternatives that I can substitute toSupport her body perfom the action without miralax? It's hard to see her try to poop so hard n not able to, and not any easier to give miralax..I'm sure ur all familiar with that..Enough fiber, plenty of water,no dairy, popcorn, raisins, plums...and? If anyone wants to write a statement to add to our

petition to the FDA from the group please e-mail it to us. ThanksJeanie
