Best portable machine that can do sweeps?

Is the GB400 the best portable machine that can do sweeps? Is it a contact

machine or what is it considered? Would like to get something that is able to

do sweeps without needing an engineering/computer degree to set it up. Also,

tried an Atelier F100 early on, but returned it due to difficulty to use and had

to hold the hand devices which gave me a burned tendon feeling in my wrists.

What do you guys all use? What can I find that is effective that doesn't

require a high level knowledge of computer tech? Have no idea what carrier

waves and all that stuff is. Do any come pre-set or with good instructions?
