Hello all! I haven't been feeling too great lately but am still

smiling up here in icy Oklahoma. The roads in my neck of the woods

are covered with 4 inches of ice.

Has anyone ever seen a thunderstorm with lightning when the temp is

12 degrees outside...that is what I saw the other night...the ice

was streaming down from the sky and it was thundering and lightning

was lighting everything up...very wierd.

Althea,.....if you don't start feeling better you need to go to the

hosptial, call the doctor. When you have problems with the left arm,

you shouldn't mess around. It might be heart related, so you need to

be checked out. Don't make me get out in this mess, but I sure will

if you don't take care of yourself,:)

I am so glad that it's going to be above freezing today, awesome! It

will be almost 70 Monday, and then another one coming in middle part

of the week, tired of this ice:(

I'm so excited that your getting out, and will have a good time. I

pray that your pain will subside for your time out. Take care, T

I think that they call that thunder snow - sounds like poetry, Huh?

We just got 5 inches of the white stuff yesterday. Cold, snowy, Michigan.

Althea, I am a quilting rookie! All my aunties who quilted have gone

home to be with Jesus so I'm learning a little at a time.Just baby

quilts so far...I had one aunt who quilted for tennessee valley

crafts authority, her quilts were works of art. I admire your

carrying on a tradition that is slowly making a comeback. What a

wonderful description of a storm! They are proof that God is God.

I've never seen one in such cold weather. Hope you have a wonderful

time at the show and that you are pain free & see lots of " pretties! "

God bless you.

I live in the desert in Las Vegas where it is usually in the high

50's, low 60's. However we are in the midst of a very freak snow

storm. Looks like we'll be getting 3-6 inches. What a sight to see:

palm trees loaded down with snow!
