Guest guest
Thanks Mick. Great name by the way I will never forget the great support this group gave me last October when I was diagnosed. I was 46 at the time, divorced, living alone, and nobody around me knew anything about prostate cancer. I was scared and I honestly wondered if my life could soon be over. This group reached out to me and for that I am extremely greatful. Helping others is my way of giving back, and each time I reflect back on my story, it reminds me how far I have come. Thanks for your contributions as well. I can tell already that you will be a great asset to the group.... thanks!Mick dolphin_79605 wrote: Mick you are always supportive and share very well. Congratulations on your 6 months post PRP anniversary! I just today came upon my 2 month post RP date and feel much much better than I did back then. Every new day is a wonder. Happy Sunday, everyone. Namaste`, Mick -- Abilene, TX > Thanks , for your kind words. is the type that wanted to make sure that cancer was gone and that he had done everything in his power to get rid of it as soon as he could, so robotic, I think and hope, was the right choice for him. Good luck to you. > > Ann Meili, We went to Nashville and s surgeon was actually one of the ones who pioneered the robotic, Ram Dasari. He taught all the Nashville (I think) surgeons how to do the procedure and we've heard he is tops. That's why we've been a bit disappointed (not at all in the dr, just disappointed) that he hasnt been able to get erections yet, after almost 5 months. Dont get me wrong, I'll wait forever and to have him here and healthy is worlds above that. But, on the other hand, we both sure do miss that closeness.... > > I understand what you mean about it being "peanuts"....Our ins did not pay 80% b/c we went out of state. They still covered it, and covered the majority of it, but we still have a good bit left to pay off. If you dont mind me asking, Ann, you said as of yesterday your husband didnt need Viagra, how long was that after the surgery. > > Also (sorry to ramble!) , does anyone have a preference between Levitra, Viagra and Cialis? My husband's taking a Cialis every other day. > Thanks and I am so happy to have found this group! > > Suzy > > > --------------------------------- > > > > > > God rewards those that keep on keeping on.
