Guest guest
Hi Cheryl, Thanks for the info and your experience. I just remembered why I stopped taking Gabapentin a year or so ago. It was this memory loss, confusion, stomach upset- and no pain releif! I had just started the third dose per day and got disgusted. I called the doc and he directed me on how to reduce and then stop the meds. This time, the doc ( Pain clinic- much better!) told me to tough it out and see if it works, reassuring me the side effects would diminish in tiime. At least this doc was more forth-coming with drug info. I was doing OK on the 3 pills per day. Things just got weird on the 5 pills but I went on to 6 per day. This is day 4 of the higher dose, and things aren't so bad this morning. Again, thank you! I wish you a wonderful weekend, basking in the sun, wind through your hair, and beautiful flowers gracing your hike through the feilds of happiness. Gee, I wish that for all of us! Guest guest
Hi Just in case you aren't aware of it -- Gabapentin is the generic name for Neurontin. Many of our members have posted about their experiences with Neurontin. A quick search of the archived messages, should give you a realistic idea of what to expect long term from the side effects etc. -- Lyndi wrote: > I just remembered why I stopped taking Gabapentin > a year or so ago.
