Guest guest
I've never given my 4 and 6yo coffee and I've never used it in any baked goods I make, recently I got results from their third IgG test that shows Coffee as a reactant +3 for one child +2 for the other. They first had a high reaction to coffee on a SAGE test about 2.5years ago, last year we did an Alltess IgG and coffee still showed up, my only guess at the time was cross contamination on the lines of the soy yogurt they ate as perhaps there was a coffee flavored yogurt made in that plant....so we cut out all soy products (their diareah that had come back disappeared again after cutting soy) fast forward 1 year, re-do the Alltess test and Coffee is STILL high on the list, they do not get any direct coffee that I'm aware of. DH and I do drink/brew coffee for ourselves but they never drink out of the mugs we use for our coffee. Could this be an air contaminante from us grinding in our own coffee? I use a separate grinder for my baking products. Other ideas? Their only remaning 'reactions' that I can see are some slight rashes on the face that come and go and perhaps some behaviors concerns as well as my oldest still has issues with getting to the toilet on time if he's not reminded and esp. in the early moring he'll still wet the bed if someone doesn't drag him out before 7 usually, but yesterday he slept till 8am (first time ever to sleep that late) and stayed dry on his own. Thanks, near LAX P.S. We are doing a boat load of DAN! stuff but the very first IgG test where coffee showed up they were only GFCF and were taking NO supplements so I don't think it's hiding in the sups.
