Guest guest
SOME areas have scholarships. If you are financially strapped, ask your leader. If is not free, but is a very much reduced price. Now, some of the newer leaders do not know this option is available in some areas. So ask them to ask their territory manager. There is usually a pretty good waiting list. Once you are accepted, if you miss more than a couple of meetings in a row, you lose your scholarship. If you attend regularly and show reasonable progress (they want a copy of your weigh in booklet sent in with each renewal request for the scholarship) you will be renewed. I have seen it given out in one instance that it was not due to finances. One woman was in an abusive relationship and her husband controlled the check book. Would not let her pay to go to WW. So, until the scholarship came through, her friends picked up the tab. Just took a couple of weeks to get the paperwork approved. She was able to get the balance due each week out of grocery money. So, if this information helps anyone, this is good. Eileen ******************************************** If you think you can, or you think you can't... you're right!!!
