I know what you mean about your grandchildren. I feel like I am always

saying to them, " Please don't climb on Nana. Please don't pull on Nana's

hands. "

, who is 4 has learned but my darling , 2, has a hard time

understanding why I can't pick her up all the time.

I wouldn't trade a second of time with them no matter how much it hurts!

Thanks - Polly

Hi Pat, at first I was on methotrexate, along with prednisone that was

supposed to help the pain and inflammation until the mtx took effect.

My white blood cell count kept going down, so I was switched to Arava.

That worked very well as far as keeping the pain and inflammation at

bay, but didn't do much for the fatigue. My WBC count continued its

decline, so finally I was switched to Enbrel. It works very well, but

it's been getting help from Bextra, which they yanked off the market a

few days ago. So far I don't have a replacement for the Bextra. For two

days I've left messages and have received no response. Guess I'll try

again tomorrow. Sue

Hi Pat,

It wasn't the doctor not returning my call; I think it was that he was

not getting the message. I think something is wrong with their voice

mail. Today I called again and talked to a real person. She gave my

message to the doctor, and I now have a new bottle of Celebrex. I've

tried it before, and it didn't work as well as the Bextra, but maybe it

will be better than nothing, LOL. Sue

Pat is the one who needs someone to help her out, I believe. So Pat,

where do you live?
