HIPAA Security of Electronic PHI

I use GoDaddy and Metrofax and encrypt any PHI that's on my laptop. Haven't

gotten a straight answer from them...does anyone know if they meet HIPAA

encryption standards? Do others of you use them? What do you do for your

electronic data-- email and electronic fax? Do you hire consultants for HIPAA

compliance?
