Guest guest
ka, Hi K here I bought a warm wax machine but so far haven't used it but it's a PT treatment where you warm parafin wax and dip your hands wrists into the warm wax and let it stay on for 10-15 min. and repeat as nec. I had it done when I was going to PT so now I can do it at home for free. Also Salon Pas...pain patches sold in a box of 50 2x3 patches for under $4 is the next best thing. Please give them a try. And let us know how they work. I keep several boxes around at all times as my daughter Tina and I use them daily. I'm sorry your father wasn't more supportative. I think most men who find them selves ina situation where they feel inadequate will respond negativly in the hopes they won't be asked again. Pain is the one subject where men are at a disadvantage as they are suppose to be the 'strong' sex... Yep...I'd give him a lump along side the head too. Guest guest
Hi, I was told to talk to my GP about pain management also. Not all clinics have such a wide varity as the Cleveland Clinic, but it gives you a good idea of what is available. http://www.clevelandclinic.org/painmanagement/eval_treat/ Rhonda
