This one day course will examine

the Year 2000 Rehabilitation Medicare Fee Schedule and its uses in daily

practice:

Objectives

At the completion of this

course, the participant will be able to:

Calculate the Medicare Fee Schedule for their own geographic area

Understand how the Medicare Fee Schedule is determined and created by

HCFA

Develop tools to teach other staff about the proper use of the Medicare

Fee Schedule

Develop a plan of action for practice-wide use of the Medicare Fee

Schedule.

Identify and use Federal resources available for monitoring changes in

the Medicare Fee Schedule.
