Yes, if you don't know " autistic " , don't say " autistic " , just " child " . I think the point gets across either way, and there are other children this kind of thing is done to. (I've seen way more kids than I want to think about in that exact position who were not autistic.) -- " For most of us, 'cure' sounds exactly like 'kill the person you are, but animate your body with some alien force.' Use in and make a claim of what it is and you make a fool of yourself. Unless you took the photo and know exactly what was going on you are only guessing and probably wrong. It could be two adults playing a takedown scene in BDSM. It could be two teens wrestling. It could be a doctored photo. It could be a store detective restraining a shoplifter. The person being restrained could be a bank robber with a gun. There is no way that you can tell that it's a child and an adult. There is nothing that points to it being an autistic person. It's simply a photo and not a good one. It's fuzzy as if the person who took it did not want people to see the real facts. If you post it you are posting a lie. It would make you a fraud. Anyway that's my opinion. A.
Guest guest
Hi, In this case the source of the photo is someone who claims to be the parent of an autistic...can't prove it. It is part of a series of photos that show the girl being restrained and crying... Could be staged, but that's beside the point. This kind of restraint can happen and in the past has killed kids. I don't know if all the special ed teachers have been taught not to do this now because of fear of lawsuits. If they have stopped it's probably because of fear of lawsuits... Guest guest
Thanks, it's easy to change the words. Good point. Camille > > This is a photo some of you may have seen.
