I see that they key ingredient is Senna. I did buy the organic senna tea last night. I think the brand is called Traditional something?? It is at Whole Foods and Walgreens. I liked that it also included other herbs to combat the side effects of Senna (cramps, nausea, etc). I haven't given it to him as he is drinking the aloe juice this week but if I do make the tea for him, I will definitely only give him a small (and diluted) amount. I liked the castor oil poultice idea, as it's external. :)Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerrySender: miralax Date: Mon, 9 May 2011 07:01:13 -0700 (PDT)To: <miralax >ReplyTo: miralax Subject: Re: Castor Oil (as a poultice) You could try Herblax by Shaklee, we've used this in our family since I was little, all natural, crushes into a powder, we added to applesaucehttp://www.shaklee.com/products.php?sku=20144 To: miralax Sent: Sun, May 8, 2011 11:28:11 PMSubject: Castor Oil (as a poultice) Will be trying this sometime this week, if things don't "move along" as planned. ;)Has anyone had any experience with it internally or topically?marie

Good point. There are some senna products that are synthetic. This one is the actual leaf and is organic, which I like. http://www.traditionalmedicinals.com/smoothmoveteaI tried the tea last night. It was good. And it worked on me by morning! ut again- not sure if I will give it to him unless as a last resort. Would try it on him before trying internal castor oil, though.

This product is not synthetic though

I don't like how I can't find the ingredients on the website although I have heard about it? Herblax has licorice, a cathardic, which also works well. (Old school remedy)
