I don't know anything other than what this article says, if anyone finds out anymore about it, let us know.

I know Janet, my ins. co. and I have spent thousands of dollars on these dumb tests up to now, with no results,either.

(sigh) Also 1 Neuro says one thing, then another neuro says the opposite and that the first one was wrong...I don't know

Hi Janet,

Boy, you put a fire under me sister. I got to thinking about your letter. The more I thought about all of us the more frustrated and mad and determined I became. I said "Darnit, I'm going to do something, if it harelips the devil! (or embarrasses myself-however I don't have much pride left anyway).

I composed a letter, found out several specialists' e-mails and just sent them off. You know the ones we can never get high enough to..... I may never get a reply.......but hope springs eternal. If I do hear anything positive I'll let you know.

My daughter, in college said, Mommy you'll just get automated replys, but someone somewhere will hear me.

I'm tired of the pain and what it's doing to my family also! I'm tired of the expense of these tests, the travel.....and all the rest.

I've got to do something

I was orig dx Oct 2000 by the neuro I currently see. But I decided on my own this past Sept to go to a MS specialist to hopefully get the best care and get the newest treatment that comes out. So this MS specialist says NO you don’t have MS. So here I have been on Avonex for 3 yrs and I don’t know what to do now. Doesn't look good applying for disability to have 1 NO and 1 yes. And now my current neuro is accusing me of wanting MS. Yeah right. I wish I could do the things I used to do, but can't. I had a spinal tap 2 wks ago and find out the results next week and if it is negative I guess it is in my head..UUGGHHH I just hate doctors and this is my 3rd spinal tap. They need a more definitive test to be more accurate to show MS. Not the well it still could be even though it is negative. It is like a guessing game with these doctors. What the HELL did they go to medical school for!!! Sorry I am not feeling kindly to doctors right now. I hope this blood test is more accurate and definitive.
