Guest guest
Hi Ken Jeepers, what a way to spend New Years, huh? I sure hope you feel better soon-and I think you will. It does get so hard to decide what to do when you feel crummy, doesn't it? You don't want to go to the doc for every sniffle, don't want to mix too many meds together, etcetc. And then when you try to tough it out, look what happens. I'm sorry you're so miserable. Get better soon. Cary

Guest guest
Dear Ken: You should not think things are going to get worse. That is not actually accurate. No one knows for sure. There could be new medicine around the corner that could cure us all. If I thought that way I wouldn't be here today. When I was 16 I got kidney disease. People said you can't live long with kidney disease. Well, today I am 57 and I am still here and kicking. So don't give up my friend. Plus I have many other things wrong too but I will not loose hope or faith. I hope you could feel the same way. Life is too precious to give up. Especially with all you have to offer. You should be writing everyday and tell the world about your travels and the people you met. You have a way with words and you can make people laugh too. I think I will start doing some writing too and take some of my own advice. Let's both see if we can. You know we could even make money doing it if we do it right. Go for it fellah too. Happy New Year Too. Let's make it a good one. Love from Big Sister

Guest guest
Hang in there, Ken. That very stern nurse was right!! You shouldn't stop taking your pain meds. It just makes it more difficult for them to catch up on the pain!! If I had known you were doing that, I would have kicked you in the butt!! I'm glad you got treatment, though. Hang in there and try to get better, don't over do it. Love and Prayers........Marina

Guest guest
Ken: There are so many options out there these days. Please don't give up! The thing is that there are many great drugs that help with depression and sadness too. Please keep an open mind about those things and talk honestly with your doctors. Also, since you like to write ... there is a great journaling website that can actually give you feedback into what you are writing (sorta like having a psychologist on call!). They have a free 5 day trial ... check it out at _www.journalgenie.com_ (http://www.journalgenie.com) . I use it and find the feedback very introspective and helpful when I need some objective info about my feelings. Check it out and let me know what you think of the website. In the meantime, you are in my prayers and on my prayer list! Love and Prayers, Beth ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Philippians 4:8 (The Message): Friends, I'd say you'll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things that are true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious -- the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
