Thanks to everybody's input on my progress and insurance info.

I would have never learned so much about diabetes without the web. It opens

up a whole new world and it is truly amazing what one can learn through it.

I was scared about the insulin and put it off for so long and now, of

course, wish I had not been so afraid. However, the past does no one any

good but the future looks a lot brighter. It's only been a couple of days

but I already feel better and have more energy and expect this will

continue.

I'm glad to hear positive input on the 70/30 as I have heard it does not

give as good coverage. The NP says that this is what they start out with and

then fine tune from there.

I would like to say thank you very much Leanne, Peggy, and Ginger for

all the information that you provided for me. I will start immediately

to make the necessary phone calls to the doctors. Right now I have

Hudson Health Plan insurance but I think that since I am not working

now I maybe eligible for madicaid. I will definetly look into that SSI

soon. Life is very hard and family are the ones who are helping out

for now but that can't go on for much longer. From what I have read so

far all you guys seem like wonderful people and I am glad to be a

member of this group. Together we will conquer. God is in charge of

all our lives and until he is ready for us to return home to him we

will live on. Just keep the faith everyone and God will see us through.
