Guest guest
...we double diaper.. I use a Pampers Supreme and then put Huggies Overnight on top of it...I know that they make the Huggies Supremes up to size 6 because we've bought them. I get them at grocery and our Walmart always has them. The baby section manager at Walmart was really nice here to order something for me so you might check that route for getting them. I did not have good luck with just Huggies Supremes and with only one diaper. We started to double diaper when we had diarrhea and now still do it until we are nighttime trained. Some also mentioned liners when I asked this long ago but they did not work for us and I had trouble finding them but it might work for you. We too just went to big beds. I honestly have put a plastic pad which you probably do not want to do at this point with yours but what about temporarily using a babe safe plastic pad on just the top but not covering the whole thing so that it can still " breathe " on sides and bottom... and then flipping it frequently. Just an idea. BTW.. my son wakes with a VERY full wet diaper each AM. Not sure how and when we will get nighttime trained but I am soon going to try I think. Best of luck! > > Hi all, > > My son (3.5) has been having problems with excessive urination for about three months (when we started LOD). LOD has been very helpful otherwise so I don't want to give it up. He has been soaking through his diapers, PJs and all his bedding nearly every night. I didn't mind so much when he was in his crib but now he is on an expensive organic mattress and the cotton and wool pads are barely doing the job. I also try to change him in the middle of the night when I apply his LDN. He is still waking up around 5:00 am completely soaked through everything. I have posted on the LOD list to get ideas about why this may be happening but I need help with the diapers. I think the problem is compounded by the fact that he is very thin and his bladder is bigger than his diaper allows. He seems to hold it for a long time (often when I apply his LDN he is still dry). Then it floods everything. I was using Huggies overnights but ran out and haven't been able to find them in a size 3 > anymore. BTW, we are not chelating him other than TTFD & PCA- rx (1 spray). Any suggestions on any SUPER absorbent diapers or other ideas would be welcome. > TIA, > > > > --------------------------------- > Yahoo! Photos > Got holiday prints?
