Guest guest
<Can anyone think of a reason why PSC patients shouldn't have laser eye surgery done to correct nearsightedness?> I had laser eye surger last August. I'd had a degenerative cornea disease for several years and my eye dr. said that's the way to get rid of it. It wasn't the kind to correct my vision although he said it would some. I thought that as long as I was having it I may as well have the kind that corrects the vision so after haggling w/ my insurance company for several months I had the surgery in early Aug. Other than continued dryness (which I had before) I love it. I do wear reading glasses but no prescription lenses. No one said anything about the PSC causing a problem and I don't think it has. Just my 2cents' worth.. Peggy McG
