3 adult doses of miralax was prescribed to us for my 4 to and she had a seizure next day. I really feel I need to do this and start fresh with him. Iforgot to mention that he is also on a strong probiotic in addition to manysupplements like Vitamin C, Magnesium Citrate, etc. We tried many otherthings in the past such as Natural Calm, Fruit-eze & lots of fruit (prunesetc). We do now know he has a casein & yeast allergy so we're addressingthose issues. I don't see the daily Epsom salts baths helping. Anysuggestions?

Hi,

Just curious as to why exactly you hate the lactulose so much? We have

used it exclusively with our daughter and I am just wondering if I'm

the only one who finds it pretty much useless :-/

Thank you,

- Vicki

I'm curious. How was the Miralax

absolutely hate it. But we wanted to make sure Miralax wasn't causing

any issues. I'm convinced that Miralax is safe for our child, but want

to finish our 6 month experiment.

constipated, we give him 3 adult doses of Miralax. That usually does

the trick to get him cleared out.

When we resume daily use of

Miralax, it will be the 8.5 grams that was working so well for us last

The miralax helped but it's not something I want to give him on a regular basis (or even semi-regular basis). Even with the Miralax, he still wasn't going regularly. He takes a good probiotic from Kirkman twice a day (25 billion per capsule). Forgot to mention that even enemas aren't clearing him out. I believe there's significant blockage. I think I'll take him to the Pediatrician and have an x-ray done and then have the doc prescribe some sort of colon cleanse so we can start fresh.
