Guest guest
Yes we are still in the hospital. It has been a rough time for him but we are seeing good improvements. No more morphine, lower on the other narcotics and just doing so much better. He was able to avoid the second surgery, thank GOD!! I started to notice a lump on his lower abdomine and thought o gosh, a hernia/another darn surgery. showed to nurses and surgeon, they didnt realy think much about it.I kept telling them I know this is much of his pain! It was about the size of an egg sliced long ways in half. Any how when I was getting very concerned about it and was going to express something be checked on it, that night befor/earlier hours I went to change his diaper and the pad under him was soaked in a liquid pussy stuff etc. This thing ruptured write through his skin. My poor lil guy was suffering in pain with this thing all these days with this thing trying to burst. He has had dramatic improvements ever since it ruptured(was on his lower surgery scar area). They called it an absis(sp). Now seems one is developing in his rectum area, I have seen some drainage there! When well this end?? She took him off the iv feedings today, still on g tube feedings. He developed horrid ulcers around the g button but now getting better and healing. She well start lowering the g feedings to see if he well get an appetite for oral food. Gosh so cant wait to get home and sleep in our own beds and see my son sitting in his favorite chair looking at books and also get busy reversing all the antibiotic fungal invasion in his body and horrid yeast rash from all this(there scripts do so little)!! The diaper spray I posted in other post works so good on the yeast. Hope all is well with everyone. Jennie<><
