Guest guest
I just wanted to share something that happened to my dd yesterday. She had extremely chapped lips from being out in the early spring weather and recently recovering from a cold. She ate Spaghetti-o's and jumped in the car on our way to her hair appointment. I noticed a orange ring around her mouth and have her a wipe to get it off. It didn't come off! It actually penetrated her skin and turned it orange! It brought me back to the experiment recently done about the carnations that Jack put in water / Miralax. I then started researching about PEG / plants and found articles about the plants absorbing more PEG IF the ends were damaged. When I saw this, it reminded me of the gut and how it absorbs or rids itself of toxins, etc. The broken dry skin allowed the dye to penetrate and stick opposed to our usual protection of the skin while eating spaghetti-o's and wiping the mouth clean. I can certainly see how if there was any underlying condition with these constipated children that the gut becomes like a dessert floor and we start to see food allergies, and absorbing things they typically wouldn't could happen.
