It was called "Hero" and was a Chinese film done in subtitles. I heard on NPR that it was the most beautiful movie ever filmed and having seen it I agree. It is so beautiful it hurts. I told it didn't really need a plot.....every frame just made you lose your breath. If you like art at all you will love this movie. I can't recommend it highly enough. My boys LOVE Jet Li, but this is his first movie I know of that is not rated R, so they have not been allowed to see his movies. He was in one Bond movie they did see, but it was PG-13, I forgot. If it is subtitled, I think they would get bored (ages 9 3/4 and 11). I ca't even get my husband to watch The Passion because of the subtitles. LOL I also want to see Cellular. Mom said that was fantastic.
