Love & Prayers, Peggy 09/04 ipf Hey Peggy, Got some good news today. Went for another 6 min walk and they reduced ox from 3 to 2. Said I was doing better. Rehab is probably why. I am taking some NAC and NEPRINOL ALONG with a lot of heart-stomack and other meds. Phred--If you insist on doing your thing at home, Be careful. I and others think a pulse ox meter is a good investment. It could save your life. Lennie said the pulminary foundation is working to get medicare and ins to pay for it. I have one and it tells me when my blood ox is too low. Rehab has helped me. I turned rehab down after heart surgery because it was an hour drive each way. I want to hear the air plane story. I do hope your test come out fine I will think about you because I an seeing my lung Dr Wed. also and doing the PFT. I am going to be better this time, so come on and give that machine every thing you've got. so we'll compare notes Thurs.. DEAL? God Bless you...love & Prayers...Peggy 09/04 ipf Our rehab person tells me she is trying to establish a local program thru the hospital corp to form a local group with prof speakers. There are a lot of lung people in this and surrounding counties. We get a lot of info on this group site. Corp hospitals are slow to put in non profit programs. Not seeing many constructive posts, Talk to me and others. Going to lung man wed for more of those tests to measure my loss. Wish I knew to how to get better. I have a zillion tales I could weave for you. Some good. Some sad. All of them true exprences. Jan you would like the one's about being lost in a small plane and running low on fuel.
