I understand that we build a tolerance to our pain meds and must change to new ones from time to time. I watched a documentary in which a woman went through severe withdrawal symptoms while coming off Oxycontin. Has anyone here changed pain meds and experienced withdrawal symptoms? Did you taper one while starting the other? I know that I am already " addicted " to Oxycontin and worry about this scenario. Many thanks in advance.
