Guest guest
Hi, all! How did you spend New Year's Eve? they asked. How else, trying to get rid of the longest session of AF to date. I believe I have become known on this site for novel ways of terminating AF. Frustrated when the Big P didn't really materialize as usual, with the usual result of kicking out of AF concurrent with the moment of finding myself running dry, and when trying the Big Gun approach two days in a row WITHOUT SUCCESS (Oh, woe is me!) (and so is She...) Talk about a downer way to welcome in the New Year! Hard to take at 67! Not yet able to see my cardio for a month and a half to the official appointment, I tried the cold shower, the cold drink, the you-know-what, the Vagal manoeuvres, a rubber hose to my chest (just kidding), in short, everything but standing on my head. But I was considering that spectre of a stroke if ever getting back into NSR. In order to lessen the chance of a clot because of blood pooling in that nasty LEFT ATRIAL APPENDAGE, I thought I might stir things around a bit by standing on my head for awhile, sort of to dump out any pooled blood before it got too stagnant. Would you believe it? Within 30 seconds I had checked my pulse, and the NSR was back! NOT NEARLY AS REWARDING as the Big Gun, but I'll take it any way I can get it! Thought you guys could stand some good news early in the New Year! Lawrence P.S. I've just read a bit on " belly breathing " , REALLY emptying the lungs, which some claim has been able to stop arrythmias. Will follow it up.
